I once cut my left hand badly while opening a can of bead. The cut was deep enough that you could actually see the bone and it required six or seven stitches leaving a scar once healed. One morning, as I was staring at the scar and feeling sorry for myself, Hebrews 4:12 was quickened in my heart.
Now, every time I see the scar on my hand, I’m reminded of just how powerful His Word truly is. I honestly don’t mind the scar lest I forget the power of His Word in my life.
Blessed day to you on Good Friday. Thank you for this lovely post. The emotional scar that I carried for too long was I tried to hide my two hearing aids (am deaf without them, it was an embarrassment back in my day which was many years ago because it was NOT normal…and was being bullied…TMI). It took me a while to learn to accept my deafness… What do you know now that later age hearing people lose their hearing and wear hearing aids and I have been told that they feel embarrassed, ha! We all carry scars in our lives but the good news is all of our scars will be extinguished because we will be made new! 🙏🏻 🕊️
Hi Denise,
Thank you for your post today.
I once cut my left hand badly while opening a can of bead. The cut was deep enough that you could actually see the bone and it required six or seven stitches leaving a scar once healed. One morning, as I was staring at the scar and feeling sorry for myself, Hebrews 4:12 was quickened in my heart.

God bless you and your family this Good Friday.
