How often I fall short of achieving this desire. But that is why I never give up. Thanks for the reminder.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately. I think this will make sense. But even though I know a lot of stuff after getting my graduate degree, I feel as though I may have gotten dumber. Even though technically, I am not. But I think I struggle to relate to the common person if I only think about things that don’t matter to other people. So no a higher degree does not dumb you down, but it can remove you from every man’s struggle if you are not careful. Something I have noticed of myself anyhow. Thankfully, I am relearning and remembering what matters to others. A tiny bit.

Jamie, I love that you pursued a graduate degree! I’m a teacher at heart and I love learning in all sorts of ways. I’m in a graduate program right now myself. It’s a good fit for me. I just want to always remember that what matters most is a heart of love. I know you know that too. I trust your heart, friend. :-)

I love learning and think I will always keep learning, and may pursue more degrees one day (or least continuing education). So it's not that learning is bad or anything like that. I hopefully didn't make it sound negative. It's more about being able to remember what it was like before I knew the new things and being willing to learn from everyone, which I think is at least part of the heart of love. :)
